Withing has earlier announced a new Wi-Fi connected Thermometer i.e., Withings Thermo to measure the temperature. And now the brand has come with an interesting announcement to track the fitness on your smartphone, i.e., the Withings Go which comes with E Ink Display for a great battery life and a prominent countdown to keep users Active and inspired.
The product is showcased in the CES 2016 and is priced at $69.95 and will available for the users by the end of first quarter of 2016. This device is designed in such a way that it can easily be slipped into your pocket, clipped to belt, you can wear on the wrist with a silicone strap and even hung that from your zipper. In spite of keeping the tracker at any position, it will always track your activities i.e., walking, running, sleeping and even swimming, as the device is waterproof to 5 ATM.
This device is connected with its dedicated Health application i.e., available on the iOS or Android. This app keeps the track on all your activities and goals and keeps reminding about your targets. The app is also connected with the social media where you can connect with the respective community and compete with the other members using the same product. You can also set the targets and participate in challenges available on the app. The GO’s E-Ink displayed is powered by a single button battery and has a life of eight months, and then the battery is to be replaced. The E Ink display comes with a touch sensitive button that lets you switch between the fitness goals and tracking modes.
Unlike the Withings Go, there were many fitness products that were launched last year, i.e. the Fitbit which is officially launched in India. Misfit’s Shine, flash and link; Xiaomi’s Mi Band, Mi Band Pulse, which keep the track of you fitness and few of the above-mentioned products also measure the heart rate on your device.
