WhatsApp messenger is soon going to support Digital Payments in India

Facebook acquired WhatsApp $22 billion and since then it been updated many times. Features like Video Calls, Snapchat like stories and many others. It was also reported that a feature WhatsApp Live location that tracks the group members in Real Time. Well, now Facebook is going to push Digital payments in India on WhatsApp. After the Demonetisation people have faced many difficulties for making payments and as a part of digitalizing India, even WhatsApp is going to allow its user to make one to one payments like PayTm and may other apps in the market.

It is also said that WhatApp is going to contribute more for the vision for Digital commerce in India as WhatApp has more than 200 million users in the country which is the highest among any country. We have seen many new feature on WhatsApp as well as on Facebook from few months and the CEO is looking forward to bringing more feature which will be helpful to its users in the coming days. The status feature which is similar to the Snapchat and Instagram stories is also now becoming famous among WhatsApp users and we can see more and more active users on the application.

It is not clear how WhatApp has planned to make digital payments as the users needs to share their contact number to the strangers in certain stages which also lead to misuse. Well, we are still not sure about the plans but WhatsApp has to look in to the matter and make sure that the numbers o the users are not leaked. It will make the payments easy as most of the smartphone users in India use the WhatApp messenger services.
