Vodafone Smart V8 launched with 3GB RAM and 3000 mAh battery
Earlier we have seen Vodafone releasing the devices like the Smart N8 and Smart Tab N8 tablet now, the company has launched another device called as the Smart V8 which will run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and will also be a mid-tire device which can be bought for £160 when combined with Big Value Bundle Pay-as-you-go offer. The device can also be bought for free if the user is willing to sign a £23 per month contract with 1GB of data and unlimited texts and calls.
Coming to the specifications of the handset, the device will be featuring a 5.5-inch touch screen display with 2.5D glass on top while there is a Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor with four cores clocking at 1.4GHz while the other four at 1.1 GHz. There is also a 3GB RAM and the onboard storage is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to 128GB via microSD card slot. There is a non-removable 3000mA battery on the rear to power the handset which should be good enough to power the device an entire day on normal usage.
The Smart V8 will feature a 16MP sensor on the rear with dual LED flash which will be accompanied by an 8MP camera on the front for video calling and selfies. On the rear, there is also a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security levels on the handset. The handset comes with a full metal body design with a soft curved edge for better handling. The device will be available in Cold Metal collar variant and weights 166 grams.
