A couple of weeks, Airtel revamped its postpaid plans and is now offering just four unlimited plans starting from Rs 499. The new Rs 999 plan comes with 4 extra add-on connections for free. Now, Vodafone is able to match up with Airtel’s offering with the newly launched Red Together plans. A total of 5 connections are included in the Rs 999 plan along with several other benefits. FYI, there will be an 18% tax added in the final bill.
The company is also offering Amazon Prime, Vodafone Play, ZEE5, and Mobile Shield with the plan. Just like Airtel, these extra benefits will be limited to the primary number. However, all the 5 numbers can take advantage of unlimited voice calls and SMS along with 200GB of data per month. Vodafone also says that only a single bill will be generated for all the 5 connections. Unlike Airtel, Vodafone has put on some restrictions on mobile data usage.
The primary number gets 80GB of data per month with up to 200GB of data roll-over facility. Talking about the other 4 connections, each connection gets 30GB of data per month with up to 50GB data roll-over limit. The ‘Mobile Shield’ plan offers protection against physical & liquid damage for the primary number for free. Alongside the Rs 999 plan, the company also three more Vodafone RED Together plans. The Rs 598, Rs 749, and Rs 899 plans come with 1, 2, and 3 free add-on connections respectively.
While the benefits for the additional connections remain the same the Rs 999, the monthly data for the primary number is limited 50GB, 60GB, and 70GB for the Rs 598, Rs 749, and Rs 899 plans respectively. However, the 200GB data roll-over limit for the primary number remain the same on all these plans. Additionally, Vodafone also has Rs 399 and Rs 499 individuals plans for single connection users.
