Vivo Z1 with 6.28″ Notch Display & Snapdragon 660 Launched in China for 1798 Yuan

Vivo has launched yet another smartphone with a notch display and dual rear cameras. The new Vivo Z1 is the first smartphone under the Z-series. It comes with curved glass body and will be available in Red, Black, and Blue color options. While it is now available for registrations, the sales will begin from June 4th. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and is priced at 1798 Yuan.

At this price, the Vivo Z1 is one of the most affordable smartphones to come with Snapdragon 660 chipset. On the front is the 6.26-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.

Coming to the cameras, there is a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear and a 24MP front camera. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear of the device. It comes with a hybrid SIM card slot where the users have to choose between the secondary SIM and the MicroSD card. The device is backed by a 3,260mAh non-removable battery and also supports fast charging.

The Vivo Z1 runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.0 out of the box. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device. It measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weighs 149.3 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
