Vivo Y91i Launched in India with 6.22” Halo Full-View Display & 4030 mAh Battery

Vivo Y91i has been launched in India which is a new addition to the companies Y series. Recently we have also seen Vivo launching its Y91 smartphone in the country and this new device will be available in Fusion Black, Sunset Red, and Ocean Blue color option. The handset comes in two different storage option and the 16GB storage variants is priced at Rs. 7,990 while the bigger 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 8,490 and will be available from all the offline stores across the country soon along with online stores.
Coming to the device, the Vivo Y91i comes with a big 6.22-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) resolutions along with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with eight cores coupled with a basic 2GB of RAM and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Furthermore, the device will come out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system based on Funtouch OS 4.0 and nothing is known about the further updates.
There is a single 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture size and for selfies, there is an 8MP camera with f/1.8 aperture size. The handset also supports face unlocking and the fingerprint sensor is not to be found. The Dual SIM variant has a dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slot so that users can use two SIM as well as extend their memory up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
There is a notch display on the front that houses the selfie camera and has minimal bezels on all sides. We can see the volume rockers on the right side of the device and below it is the power button. The handset measures 155.11 mm × 75.09 mm × 8.28 mm and weighs 163.5 grams in weight. With many other smartphone makers offering 3GB RAM or more with similar pricing it should be interesting to see how this device will survive in the market.
