Vivo has launched the 3GB RAM variant of its Y91 smartphone for Rs.9,990 in India. The device will be available via major online and offline retails stores across the country. Nothing apart from the bump from 2GB RAM to 3GB has changed on the device and It will be available in Starry Black and Nebula Purple color options. The Vivo Y91 smartphone with 2GB RAM option was launched earlier this year for Rs. 10,990 and is currently being sold at Rs. 8,990.
Well, talking about the specs of this smartphone it comes with a 6.22-inch (1520×720 pixels) HD+ 19:9 IPS display with dewdrop display and glass protection on top. Like the 2GB RAM variant, even this new variant will be coming out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top. Under the hood, there is a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor coupled with PowerVR GE 8320 GPU along with 2GB and 3GB RAM options.
The onboard storage is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot. Furthermore, there is a 4030mAh battery on the device that comes with fast charging technology. On the camera front, there is a 13MP primary camera sensor on the rear with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture size which will be accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture size.
The connectivity option on the handset includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n along with Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, A-GPS and measures 155.11 mm × 75.09 mm × 8.28 mm while weighing 163.5 grams in weight.
