Vivo Y90 Launched in India with 6.22” Halo Full View Display for Rs. 6990

Vivo has launched its new budget-friendly device in India called as the Vivo Y90 that will be included in the companies Y series. The device is priced at Rs. 6,990 and all be available in Black and Gold color options across all offline partner stores and major e-commerce website from 27th of July. This device comes with Dual SIM connectivity and the company has also mentioned that the handset is manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility.
Talking about the specs of the smartphone, the device will be coming with a 4030mAh battery which comes with the companies exclusive smart power management system and recently the device was leaked revealing two of its color options along with few other specs. As the earlier rumors suggested, the Vivo Y90 came with a 6.22-inch Halo FullView Display with HD+ (1520 x 720 Pixels) resolutions giving an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Under the hood, there is an Octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) 16nm processor with a clocking speed of 2GHz and 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE83200 GPU. There is 2GB of RAM on the device along with 16GB of onboard storage which can be extended further up to a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot. It will be coming out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system based on Funtouch OS 5.0 instead of Android 9 Pie.
There isn’t any fancy triple or quad rear camera setup on this budget-friendly device since there is only one 8 MP camera on the rear with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture while on the front we can find a 5MP camera with f/1.8 aperture for video calling and selfies.
