Vivo to Soon Launch iQOO Lite with Snapdragon 710 SoC

In March this year, Vivo introduced a new sub-brand called iQOO to compete with the affordable flagships from other Chinese brands. The first smartphone under this new sub-brand is launched as just iQOO came with the latest flagship hardware. It is also one of the most affordable Snapdragon 855-powered smartphones available in the market. With the pressure-sensitive buttons and liquid cooling technology, the Vivo iQOO is also a great competitor to gaming smartphones.

The base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is retailing for just CNY 2798 (approx USD 404 / INR 28,000). Now, the newly leaked images suggest the company to soon unveil the iQOO Lite smartphone (a.k.a iQOO Youth). Just like the iQOO, the availability of the iQOO Lite will also be limited to just China. It will come powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform. The device comes with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

It will be backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and should also support fast charging. The leaked image also revealed the base variant of the iQOO Lite to cost just CNY 1798 (approx USD 260 / INR 18,000). On the front, the device sports waterdrop notch display as seen on its older sibling. It will be running on Android 9.0 Pie-based FunTouch OS out of the box. We also expect the device to sport triple camera setup on the rear.

Talking about the flagship iQOO smartphone, it came with a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In terms of optics, it came with a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it sports a 12MP front-facing camera with  f/2.0 aperture. The Vivo iQOO also came with 4,000mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging technology.

There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor on the front and supports face unlock. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. We should be seeing more leaks about the iQOO Lite smartphone in the coming days. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
