The smartphone maker Vivo is reportedly going to launch a new mid-range device in India called as Y15. Recently we have seen the company launching its Y17 smartphone last month. It is also said that this new handset will be coming with a triple rear camera setup but the pricing of the same is not known yet nor the exact launch date is revealed but it is expected to be priced in between Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 which we should be known in a few days.
As of now there isn’t much information on the specs sheet of the upcoming handset but is said to a mid-ranger. The could be a trimmed down version of the Vivo Y17 that was launched for Rs. 17,999 in the country. Well, the Vivo Y17 came into the market with a 6.35-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch which houses a 20MP selfie camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It also sports an aspect ratio of 19.3:9 and we can expect similar kind of display on the upcoming handset also.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y17 is powered with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. It also has 128GB of onboard storage which could be extended via microSD card slot. It came out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system and even the Vivo V15 should also be coming with the latest Android version with the companies own FuntTouchOS 9 on top. The device is backed up by a big 5000mAh battery on the back with the support for 18W Dual Engine fast charging technology.
Furthermore, the handset was launched with a 13MP main camera sensor along with f/2.2 aperture, accompanies by a secondary Super Wide-Angle lens of 8MP and a 2MP depth sensor also.
