Upcoming Realme X to Launch with 48MP Triple Camera Setup

Next week, Realme will officially launch the Realme X series in China. As per the leaks, the company will launch two new smartphones – Realme X and Realm X Lite (or Realme X Youth). The Realme X Lite will be the same Realme 3 Pro which was recently launched in India. Talking about the Realme X, the company already confirmed it to sport complete bezel-less AMOLED display with 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. Today, Realme posted a new teaser image revealing the device to feature a 48MP camera on the rear.
It actually comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture. The NightScape mode introduced with the Realme 3 will be also available on this device. The RMX1901 which we all expected to be the Realme X got listed on TENAA with the dual camera setup. Now, the new teaser image hints the device to sport triple camera setup on the rear. As per the earlier leaks, the Realme X will sport 48MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary camera just for calculating depth in the image.
Now, we also expect the device to sport a third sensor on the rear for a wide-angle view. For selfies, the company opted for the pop-up camera on the top edge. It is mentioned to withstand over 200,000 times of lifting. Even if the camera pops out 150 times a day, it can be used without any issue for over 3 years. As per the TENAA listing, the device comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with no notch or bezels. It will be running on the latest ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
While the Realme X will come powered by newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform, the company will later launch the Realme X Pro with the flagship Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform. The device sports 3D curved glass body with a 2.5D glass on the front. Unlike the Realme X Lite, the Realme X features an in-display fingerprint scanner on the front. The company might also launch the Realme X smartphone in the Indian market. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Realme smartphones!
