UMIDIGI is Launching a Xiaomi Mi Mix Clone at just $99 with 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage & Frameless Design

Earlier, we have seen the Chinese knock-off devices that look similar to the smartphones from the major manufacturers like Samsung and Apple. Now, they are counterfeit products that resemble the China made products from the Chinese brands. Just yesterday, Doogee launched the Doogee MIX which looks similar to the Xiaomi’s bezel-less smartphone, Mi MIX. Today, UMIDIGI teased the all-new Crystal smartphone that will be retailing from just $99. Apart from the three-sided bezel-less display, the UMIDIGI Crystal is an entirely different device from the Xiaomi Mi MIX. Last year, the company also launched iPhone 7 knock-off product, UMIDIGI G with the unibody metal design.

Talking about the UMIDIGI Crystal, it will be available in Lumia edition and all-metal edition. It is expected to come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. As seen with the Doogee MIX, the UMIDIGI Crystal also packs the MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor. Both the variants pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The Lumia edition with glass back body comes with a dual-lens camera on the rear. With the three-sided bezel-less display, the front facing camera can be spotted on the left side of the bottom bezel. The unibody metal variant comes with a single rear camera, and the front facing camera is placed in the bottom middle on the front.

Both the devices come with the circular fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device. While the volume rocker and power button are placed on the left edge on the Lumia edition, the all-metal edition has the same buttons on the right edge. As of now, there is no much information available about these devices. The users can soon pre-order the device from the company’s official website starting from just $99. It is mentioned to go on sale from June 15th, and the final pricing will be known at the launch time. Along with the UMIDIGI Crystal, there is also a UMIDIGI Crystal Plus that comes in Dazzle Blue looks similar to the Doogee MIX with the dual-lens camera and the front facing fingerprint sensor.

On the company’s official website, it is said to feature the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC built on the 10nm FinFET process. There is also 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on this device. The Crystal Plus will be made available along with the Crystal.
