Turing Monolith Chaconne with 18GB RAM, 1.2TB Storage & 3 Snapdragon 830 SoCs revealed

A couple of days back, we reported about a smartphone from Turing which was quite unusual. Unusual in terms of specs at least. It was called the Cadenza and it had some of the most insane specs for a smartphone which we ever saw. With a release date scheduled for 2017, it is said to be powered by two Snapdragon 830 processors and 12GB of RAM. It also said to have dual 20-megapixel rear facing camera and a 60-megapixel iMAX 6K Quad-Rear camera. the first reaction that everyone had on their faces was a big question mark! And that’s no bummer since we practically don’t need such specs.

And now the company has announced yet another smartphone and this time around; we are looking at a more powerful device. This new device from the company is called the Monolith Chaconne. It may be a dream smartphone for many but looking at the specs, it looks more like a joke. Why? Well, this time, this device is powered by three Snapdragon 830 processors. For RAM we are looking at 18GB of RAM, and it also has 1.2TB of storage space. And in case you missed the detail, it is 200MB more than the Cadenza.

When it comes to the camera, we are looking at the same setup as that of Cadenza. This mammoth of a device is powered by a 120wh battery. If it wasn’t enough, then this device can also run four SIM cards. It has a Quad NanoSIM support with 4G VoLTE. It will be running the same Sailfish OS, which is said to be powering the Cadenza as well. So if this device ever launches, then you won’t have a difference in software experience at least. With that being said, the ultimate question here is, is this device even real? We don’t have any answer for that as of now.

As mentioned earlier, it is slated for 2018 release and who knows, maybe we will have such crazy devices launching by that time. But the odds of that happening seems to very less. Anyway, we will update the thread once we have any other info about this, so stay tuned.
