Tecno Camon C9 Plus Launched in Uganda with 3GB RAM & 32GB Storage

Tecno Camon C9 Plus is the new device that has been launched by Tecno which is a smartphone manufacturer from China. The Camon C9 Plus will be the successor to the Camon C9 that was launched earlier and was also a camera-centric device. It was expected that Tecno would have unveiled its Phantom 6 (successor of Phantom 5) and Phantom 6 Plus devices, but the company has pushed Camon C9 Plus before them.

The Tecno Camon C9 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display (1080 x 1920 pixels) with a pixel density of 401 which is good for a smartphone. Under the hood, there is an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). To power the device there is a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery on the back that cannot be removed. The device supports Dual SIM connectivity wherein it has two Micro SIM card ports and supports 4G LTE networks on them.

The handset comes with 32GB of onboard memory and also has an Iris Scanner, to enhance the security levels. In the camera front, the device will be sporting a 13 MP cameras with flash on both the sides which will give better video quality when on video calls and selfies. The other connectivity options included are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, GPS and hotspot.

The Camon C9 Plus measures 153 x 76.4 x 10.35 mm in size and weighs 143 grams. The device is now available in Uganda for a price that is ranging from UGX 630,000 to 700,000 (Approx $186 to $207), and there is no word on the global roll out of this device.
