The Swipe Konnect 5.0 that was released last few days ago, has a 5 inch touch screen display with 540 x 960 pixel resolutions and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The on-board memory of the device is at 8 GB that can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. There is an 8 MP rear facing camera and it is accompanied with 3.2 MP front facing camera. The battery used in this device is at 1950 mAh which is removable.
Today we are going to test the battery of the device and will see how this device will be rated for its battery depending on its performance.

Note – These tests are done with the maximum volume, Wi-Fi Switched on, brightness levels-medium and few applications running on the back ground. More over there might be a few minute changes in the results that you get with your device and we are not responsible for the difference in results.
After played the music for 30 minutes on the Swipe Konnect 5.0, we found out that the battery consumed here was 12 % that will make the battery to last for 4.16 hours for continuous playback of music. While conducting this test, the Swipe Konnect 5.0 was not featuring any SIM in it and even the Wi-Fi was switched on, with few applications running on the back ground.

The video playback test on the Swipe Konnect 5.0 is done with two different video qualities, like FHD and HD so that we can differentiate how the battery works on different quality videos.
Results with FHD Playback
After 30 minutes of HD video play back, we found that Swipe Konnect 5.0 consumed 18 % of battery, i.e. at this rate it will consume 36 % of battery in one hour and it will become dead in a span of 2.77 hours.
Results with HD Playback
In 30 minutes of HD playback we found that the battery was at 84 % at the end of the test. There was a 16 % drop in the battery level in half an hour so the battery will die in 3.12 hour, where you can watch one complete movie on a single charge.

After browsing continuously of a period of 30 minutes, we found that the battery consumed was an astonishing 24 % and within an hour the battery consumed will be 48 % and at this rate the device will go dead in 2.08 hours with is very low battery backup.

While the gaming test the devices was comfortable enough in the hands to play, and interestingly in 30 minutes the battery was at 79 % which mean 21 % was consumed and at this rate the device will last up to 2.3 hours.

On normal usage of this Swipe Konnect 5.0 Smart phone the battery consumed was 5 % in a span of 30 minutes and at this rate the device will last up to 10 hours with a single complete charge. That is pretty less when compared with other Smartphones. (Normal use includes, a couple of notifications received and few back ground applications running)

What we can say here is the battery backup is less and even after normal use the Phone lasted for just 10 hour. So you need to either carry an extra battery with you all the time or either carry the charging Kit along with you.
