While the Xperia X series devices came with a fingerprint sensor embedded power button or the circular power button, but this Xperia E5 comes in normal plastic buttons, which hints the device to come with cheaper price tag.

It comes with a removable plastic back cover and it also supports NFC connectivity. The device comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It packs 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot. The display of Xperia E5 is limited to just HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution.
