With CES not very far, we can see many smartphone makers scheduling events and talking about the upcoming devices. Sony has also blocked a day at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the same has been mentioned on the companies blog. We might see the company showcasing its upcoming smartphones or upcoming technology from them which could be used on their smartphones.
We have generally seen Sony announcing its flagship devices at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) which take place in Barcelona and is scheduled for the final week of February this year. At the last year’s event the smartphones like Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra and L2 were announced and so considering it, we might expect Sony to announce entry-level or mid-range smartphones at the CES.
Furthermore, we can also hear about the companies plan of its upcoming 5G technology which is been news from a while now. In the press release, Sony mentions to mark the calendar and also mentioned that Leadership from across the Sony Group will be discussing the companies initiatives to connect users and creators via creativity and technology. The booth number is mentioned as 17300 and will be held on 7th of December at 5.00 p.m in Las Vegas.
It will be interesting to see what new technologies will be bought in this year by Sony which is well known for its Sound and Displays. Sony’s upcoming handsets might come with in-display camera hole design skipping the display Notch. Although it is not sure what the company has in the bag and we might see a completely new technology also but we need to wait for it a few more days until the company announces the devices officially.
