Earlier: May 3rd, 2017 – Smartron, India’s first true global technology OEM brand had launched the t.phone previously. The t.phone as well know was not that exceptional, but it was indeed a good phone, to begin with. The Smartron t.phone was the company’s first smartphone which they launched after launching the t.book. And now it looks like the company is all set to unveil a new device. While we don’t have much to report on the same, but we do know that the smartphone will be unveiled today.

If you have been following the news, then you might already know that Smartron has been planning to launch a new Sachin Tendulkar-Branded Phone. It was reported that this would be the first ever signature series of him for any brand. supporting this report, it was also reported Sachin was spotted in a studio where he was shooting something for the smartphone brand. And now finally putting an end to these rumors, the company has officially announced that a new smartphone is on its way.

Smartron t.phone Review – Ambitious but Flawed

The new smartphone from the company is dubbed as Srt-phone which makes us believe that it is indeed related to Sachin Tendulkar. If you didn’t know already, Sachin is a strategic shareholder and an integral part of the company. Recently for the master blaster’s birthday, the company had started a new campaign, with a hashtag where users can write to him using the hashtag and the top 5 entries will be able to meet the man himself on the launch of the new Srt-phone which is set to happen today.

As mentioned earlier, we don’t have much to report about the device itself as of now, since we don’t have any official info, however, since the launch is not far away, we should get to know more about this very soon. This is expected to sort of like a successor to the previously launched t.phone and we hope this time the company has introduced some new features, etc. Having said that, if you wish to know more about the smartphone, then we suggest you stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more info on the same.
