Well, Samsung has been working on its upcoming sensation Galaxy F – the foldable smartphone along with its next Infinity V display. Meanwhile, there are few image leaks of the Samsung W2019 clamshell phone which will be the successor of the W2018 launched earlier this year. The South Korean Giant launches a clamshell smartphone in China every year with two screens and now W2019 is on the cart which is yet to be unveiled. With the number of leaks we have been witnessing, we can expect the device to be announced in the next few weeks itself.
We have got, many leaked images of this clamshell device that have been shot from multiple angles. Well, the device will come with some high-end specs sheet like the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC along with a big 3000mAh battery. There will be two 4.2-inch touchscreens like its predecessor and on the camera front, there will be the dual camera setup on the rear as we have seen on all the flagship smartphones.
The images reveal a lot of details about the smartphone, like the dedicated Bixby button under the volume rockers placed in the right side, a power button which could also be the fingerprint scanner, a USB-Type-C connector. We cannot find the 3.5mm audio jack on this device and might be priced around $2500 and like its predecessors will be available only in China.
The W2018 came with 4.2-inch AMOLED display with Snapdragon 835 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage along. It boasted 12MP camera sensor on the rear with a 5MP selfie shooter with f/1.9 lens. Moreover, it was also capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps and was powered with 2300mAh battery. It supported USB Type-C port and had dual hybrid SIM slots. The handset was priced at CNY 15,999(approx US$ 2400) for the base variant and was available in Black and few other limited variants.
