Samsung is long rumored to introduce the in-display fingerprint sensor with the flagship Galaxy smartphones. Based on the latest leaks, the rumored Galaxy P30 and Galaxy P30+ smartphones will be the first devices from Samsung to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, we have already seen several smartphones from Chinese brands offering in-display fingerprint sensor. Even the Galaxy S10 smartphones launching in early 2019 are also said to feature this new technology.

A couple of weeks back, there are rumors that Samsung will soon introduce new Galaxy M and Galaxy P series. While there is no information about the Galaxy M-series, the Galaxy P30 and P30+ are rumored to be the first smartphones to launch under the new Galaxy P-series. With the recently launched mid-range Galaxy smartphones, the company shifted the fingerprint sensor placement from rear to right side.

Talking about the Galaxy P30 smartphone, it is mentioned to come with the model number SM-G6200. We are yet to know other details. Samsung has scheduled an event on October 4th. According to the leaks, the company will be unveiling Galaxy A9 Star Pro smartphones. Since there is no official confirmation, we expect the company to unveil the new Galaxy P30 smartphones on that day. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
