Samsung is known for launching more than a few smartphones every year. These smartphones range from the affordable budget smartphones to high-end flagship devices. Also, they have a variety of different series, under which these smartphones are launched. One of them the Galaxy C series. It’s been a couple of months since the company first unveiled this new series. And now it is just about time to update it with a new smartphone.
So now apparently the company is working on a new device to launched under the Galaxy C series. Not much info is available at this point, but it we definitely learn more about this in coming weeks. But we know that the device is codenamed ‘Amy’, and it will be called the Galaxy C9 with the model number C9000.
This is going to be a successor to the previously launched Galaxy C5. The Galaxy C5 has a 5.2-inch FHD display. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with 4GB of RAM. It also packs 32GB of internal storage. It is one of the first devices from the company to have 4GB of RAM in the mid-ranged price segment. It also supports LTE and fingerprint sensor. So looking at these specs, it is expected that the new Galaxy C9 will feature better specs compared to this.
Do make a note that the Galaxy C series is exclusive to China as the company has not launched it anywhere else. So it will not come as a surprise if this new soon to be launched Galaxy C9 will also be a China exclusive. But the Galaxy A9 smartphone which also was exclusive to China launched in Malaysia recently. So maybe we might see this one also making it’s way out of the country. However, we don’t have any info about the pricing or the availability of the device as of now. Stay tuned for more info on this as we will update the thread once we have more details.
