The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is going get official on 5th of August as they have teased the same few hours back and now the latest official-looking press renders of the upcoming wearable device reveal its color options. Well, the leaks suggest that the device will be coming in Black/Silver model, a pale Blue/Grey and also a Pink/Gold/Beige looking models. It is expected to come in more color variants in the future.
There is also a special Armour Edition of the smartwatch which should be offered in Black with Grey or Black color straps. Nothing is mentioned about Watch Active 2 as it could be a touch bezel which will be allowing for a way to navigate the UI without much problem. Furthermore, the watch is said to be coming with Bluetooth v5.0 along with an ECG and fall detection features like most of the reputed smartwatches.
It will be coming with 4GB of onboard storage along with 768MB of RAM and will be powered with an Exynos 9110 chipset. The display is likely to a Super AMOLED one with 360 x 360 pixels resolutions. It will be made available in two different sizes with one being a 40mm watch which will have a 1.2-inch screen while the bigger 44mm watch will be coming with a 1.4-inch panel. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be coming with a 247mAh battery for the base model while the bigger one will have a 340mAh battery.
This upcoming smartwatch might be offered in Wi-Fi only and LTE variants along with Gorilla Glass protection to protect the screen from falls and scratches. Apparently, it will be coming with MIL-STD 810G certification and also its 5ATM water resistance.
