Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) Announced with 4G LTE, 2GB RAM & 8” Display

Earlier today we have seen the South Korean Giant Announced its Galaxy C8 and now Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) in Vietnam after the recent leaks. The device will be the successor of the last years Galaxy Tab 8.0 and will be available at Black and Gold color options. It will be available for 64900 Vietnamese Dong for the 4G version which already going for sale. Nothing is known about the global roll out yet.

Coming to the specs of this tablet, the latest Galaxy Tab 8.0 will sport an 8-inch (1280×800) WXGA TFT touchscreen display. Under the hood, there is a Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with a clocking speed of 1.4GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. The onboard storage is limited to 16GB which can be extended further upto a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot.

Out of the box, the handset will run on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and might also get further updates when they are available. On the camera front, there is an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture size and it will be accompanied with a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet supports 4G LTE with voice calling which is optional, WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4 + 5 GHz), Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS + GLONASS.

On the back of the tablet, there is a 5000mAh battery to power the device. It measures 212.1 mm x 124.1 mm x 8.9mm and weighs 364 grams. The device comes with a metal body and has a physical home button on the front and menu buttons are just below the display. It will be available both in 4G and Wi-Fi only variants giving its user an extra option to choose from. Are you planning to buy this tablet?
