Samsung has massively failed with the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone recently as the company has now stopped the production of the smartphone due to various unfortunate reasons. Well, if you thought that it would affect the company majorly and they won’t be working on anything else for quite some time, then you are wrong. Yes, it has indeed affected the company majorly, but they certainly are not stopping. Yes, we have now spotted the device yet again, and we have lots of info to share.
As we saw in the previous leaks, the company is going to launch the new Galaxy S8 smartphone early next year. And now confirming the same, we do have some other specs leak as well to go with it. And you might want to hear what they have planned for us this time around. First of all, to start things off, we will be getting a 5.5-inch dual curved display on the front, and this is not going to be your ordinary display. We are going to be treated with a 4K display here. An overkill you might say? Well, yes it definitely is, but we just have to see how they are planning to implement something like this.
Also according to the listing here, we will have two variants of the smartphone i.e. one with a Snapdragon 830 chipset and the other one with an Exynos 8895. Both of them made with the upcoming 10nm process. This is not surprising as we recently learned that the company would be making them exclusively. But what is surprising to us is, we might have two different variants within where one will have 6GB of RAM and the other will 8GB of RAM. Well, this is quite unusual since we have never seen the company launching a smartphone with two different amount of RAM.
Well, unless they are planning to launch the higher RAM variant in China separately, this is not going to happen. All the other specs mentioned in the listing seems pretty good. The screen to body ratio remains 80-percent in comparison to the newly launched Xiaomi MIX which has a 90+ percent of screen-to-body ratio. As mentioned earlier, we can expect the company to announce it by February, and if the listing is something to go by, then we should be seeing it in the wild by around the month of March. That said, looking at the specs, it certainly looks like they are going to come with an exceptional device here.
The only thing to worry about is the fact that are people really interested in buying Samsung phones anymore after all the note 7 fiasco. Yes, the specs of the upcoming S8 looks very promising and do make a note that these are just rumours and we don’t have any confirmation on any of this. Well, what do you think, are these number on paper enough to make you want to buy it or you are going to hold back and go for some other device. Do let us know in the comment section below and stay tuned for more info on this.
