Samsung has recently launched a new smartphone, i.e., Galaxy S7 priced at Rs 47,999. The device comes powered by Exynos 8890 Octa Quad-Core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. It is a dual SIM smartphone supporting dual standby. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB as its internal storage and can expand to 200 GB using an external Micro SD Card slot. It is powered by a 3000 mAh Li-Poly battery and runs on Android Marshmallow, i.e., 6.0. The device sports a 12 MP rear camera with LED flash and 5 MP selfie shooter. It is available in four variants of color, i.e., White, Black, Silver and Gold.     SIM card insertion is the very first thing that you do when you purchase a new device. Samsung Galaxy S7 comes with a non-removable back panel hence the SIM card slot is on the top edge of your device. Now remove the SIM card tray using the SIM ejector pin and place the SIM cards on the tray and push the tray back inside the port and boot your device. You have successfully inserted SIM Card on your device and will be ready for use in some time.

    What is the type of SIM supported on this device?

    It is a dual SIM smartphone supporting dual standby. The SIM 2 slot on the device is a Hybrid SIM card slot, where you can either add a SIM card or can used it to extend the memory on your device.     How to share your Data network via Tethering on the device?

    Sharing of the Data network can be done using the tethering Mode on your device. To Share the Data network on your device, open the Settings and tap on Mobile hotspot and tethering. In the new window, tap on Mobile hotspot and toggle the off button to enable that on your device.

    There are two ways in which you can capture a screenshot on your device.

    To change the Theme on your Samsung Galaxy S7, open the settings and tap on Themes option just below the wallpaper option. If you are doing that for the first time them, you need to agree on the terms and conditions and then proceed further. The device comes with a default Theme with a More themes options on the screen, click on the More themes and select the Theme by tapping on it. In the new window, you can check the preview of the theme with a download button at the bottom. If you like the theme, then click on the download button.     Samsung Galaxy devices come with an additional My Magazine option which provides a particular information about the trading feed depending up on your selection. This option is available on the left most panel on your device, which can be disabled if you want them to appear on the screen. This can be done in two ways; one is the disabling the briefing completely form your device and the other to remove the feed from your left screen. To remove the feed from your home screen, press and hold the free space on the screen until the edit option appears. Now head over to the briefing section and tap on the check box to remove the feed option from your home screen.

    How to Add a Fingerprint sensor on your device?

    To add a fingerprint sensor on your device, open the Settings and tap on LockScreen & Security. In the new window, tap on the fingerprints and add any security lock type, i.e., pin or pattern on your device to proceed further. To use the device in a single layer mode, open the settings and tap on Advanced features. In the new window, head over to the bottom of the screen and tap on Galaxy Labs. Further tap on the “Show all apps on home screen” and toggle the off button to enable that on your device. Now the app drawer option is removed, and all the applications will directly appear on your home screen. This option can be disabled if your reverse the above mentioned steps.

    To enable the developer mode on your device, open the Settings and tap on About Phone.     S Health application is used to track the fitness on your device by counting the footsteps. To use this on your device, open the SHealth application from the app drawer and click on the next button in the welcome window. In the new window, you need to add the Samsung account so that all the data which is tracked will be stored on your Samsung account. Once you are done with the setup, you will find the step counter, Measure Heart Rate, Measure SPO2, Nike Plus fitness tracker.

    How to disable the briefing on your device?

    Briefing or My Magazine option is available in the left most column on your home screen. To remove this from your home screen, you need to tap on and hold the empty region on your home screen until the customization option appears. Now head over to briefing and tap on the checkbox to disable that from your home screen.
