Samsung, the Korean smartphone giant, has recently launched two smartphones, i.e., Galaxy On5, and Galaxy On7 in China and now the brand has launched these two smartphones in India with a Make in India Campaign as the device is assembled in India. The Galaxy On5 comes with an Exynos 3475 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU. It has a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Unlike the Galaxy J series the Galaxy On series also comes with decent specs and features.
The device comes with 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded to 128 GB using an external micro SD card. It comes powered by a 2600 mAh Li-ion battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports dual standby. The SIM card supported by the device is a Micro SIM card.
It supports 14 regional languages like Hindi, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, etc. While speaking about the camera, the device comes with 8 MP rear camera, supports full HD video recording and 5 MP front camera to capture selfies. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB Type 2.0 and 2G/3G/4G network are the connectivity features supported by the device and is available in two color variants i.e., Black and Gold and is exclusively available on Flipkart Store.
