Ahead of the launch tomorrow, Samsung begins its latest midrange smartphone – the Galaxy M40 promotions in the country. The new teaser of the upcoming Galaxy M40 by Samsung shows off the device entirely and also reveals the key specifications of the device. Along with the teaser, the Galaxy M40 has also been spotted on Android Enterprise list of devices, which has further shed information of what to expect with the soon-to-be-launched Galaxy M40 smartphone in India.
Going by the video teased by Samsung India featuring Disha Patani, a Bollywood Actress wherein she reveals the Galaxy M40 smartphone that comes with a punch-hole display in on the front, and the triple rear cameras back aligned vertically in a glass body finish. The Samsung teaser also suggests the anticipated Snapdragon 6 series chipset, which is the Snapdragon 675 SoC that will power the Galaxy M40 smartphone. Further, the M40 is said to be featuring 6GB of RAM, and as per the video, the phone will likely run on Android Pie based Samsung’s OneUI since we can see the new multitasking pane on the Galaxy M40 device (in the video).
A new report has also spotted the Galaxy M40 device on the Android Enterprise Device page, wherein it further revealed some of the key specifications of the upcoming midrange Samsung device. According to the Android Enterprise page, the Galaxy M40 smartphone is said to be featuring a 6.3-inch display with punch-hole for the front-facing camera, which is the Infinity O display, according to Samsung, which we have seen on their current Galaxy S10 series smartphones. Further, the Android Page revealed that the M40 would be equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Furthermore, the Galaxy M40 teaser and the Android Enterprise page confirms the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the back, and Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy M40 smartphone will be featuring 32MP rear triple cameras as well. As stated, the phone ships with Android Pie out-of-the-box. The launch of the Galaxy M40 would be tomorrow i.e., on June 11th, and the device can be purchased online through Amazon India portal and the Samsung India website as well.
