Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) with Front-Facing LED Flash Leaked in Press Renders

Just after Samsung unveiled the smartphones under the new Galaxy A 2016 series, there are rumors about the Galaxy J 2016 devices. Later the Galaxy J5 (2016) & Galaxy J7 (2016) are spotted on FCC and TENAA listings, where we got the first glimpse of the devices. Recently the company has launched the entry-level Galaxy J3 (2016) & J1 Mini in Brasil. While the TENAA listing revealed most of the specifications, now we have some high quality images of the device leaked online.

The Galaxy J7 (2016) with the model number SM-J710 is also imported to India along with Galaxy J5 (2016) & Galaxy J3 (2016). Talking about the device, it comes with a metal frame around the device and a removable plastic back cover. It features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display. Under the hood, the J7 2016 comes powered by the latest in-house Exynos 7870 octa-core processor.

It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot. While the TENAA listing mentioned the device to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the latest leaks suggest the device to come with latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI overlaid. The Galaxy J7 (2016) sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and laser autofocus and a 5MP front camera.

The device is backed by a 3,300mAh battery that can last more than day of usage. As seen with the last years Galaxy J5 & Galaxy J7, the upcoming devices also comes with front-facing LED flash. While the flagship Galaxy S7 & Galaxy S7 Edge are made available most of the countries, now we can expect the mid-range Galaxy J5 (2016) & Galaxy J7 (2016) to launch by the end of next month.
