Samsung is all set to release its Galaxy J3 (2017) next year although there is no news about the launch date. The device has passed the FCC which the US official authority and the handset model was spotted as SM-J327P. Earlier we have seen the Samsung Galaxy J7 spotted on Zauba for Rs. 13,686 and there are many other leaks of next year’s Galaxy model devices.
Earlier the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) was imported to India with the same model number that came to India for testing on 9th of October. Later it surfaced on an online benchmarks database which leaked the specifications of the same. This device will be the successor to the Galaxy J3 that was released earlier and might or might not change the name as Samsung is known for carrying the same name for its next-generation devices also.
According to the leaks, The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will be sporting a 5-inch display, and there is a 2600 mAh battery on the back to power the handset. Under the hood there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and there will be a 5MP selfie camera along with 8MP main camera. It is expected to come out of the box with Android Marshmallow operating system which could be upgraded to Nougat later.
Looking at the specification, the device looks like it will be an inclusion of mid-range segment and will be competing against the devices like Xiaomi Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Swipe Elite Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Honor 4X and few other devices.
