Samsung has recently launched a new smartphone i.e., the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 which is the successor of Galaxy J3 priced at Rs 8,990. The device comes with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB as its internal storage where the storage on the device can be expanded to 64 GB using an external Micro SD Card. It is powered by MediaTek Quad-Core Processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, coupled with Mali 400 GPU. The device sports an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and 5 MP Selfie shooter. It does support 15 regional languages in India. The device packs a 2600 mAh Li-Poly battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1.     SIM card insertion is the very first thing any user does when he or she purchases a new device. To insert a SIM card on your device, power off your device and remove the battery on the device along with back panel and insert the SIM card on respective slots as per the marked direction. Now put the battery & Back cover and power off your device. You have successfully inserted SIM card on your device and it will be ready for use in less than 10 minutes.

    What is the type of SIM supported on this device?

    The SIM card supported by the device is Micro SIM card and the device does support 4G connectivity on it. The SIM card slots are present just above the battery and can be inserted on your device by removing the battery.

    How to share your Data network via Tethering on the device?

    Sharing of the Data Network can be done using the Tethering Mode on your device. To share the data network on your device, open the settings and tap on Mobile hotspot and tethering. In the new window, tap on Mobile hotspot and toggle the off button to enable that on your device. The network name and password can be set by tapping on More and click on Configure Mobile hotspot.

    The device comes with bloatware applications like Microsoft Apps i.e., Excel, Powerpoint, OneDrive, Word, One Note, Skype and few games like BubbleBash3, Midnight Pool2, My Galaxy, Opera Max, Price of Persia, Zombiee Infection pre-installed on your device.

    Can I remove the bloatware apps from the device?

    No, there is no such options available on the device using which you can remove the apps from internal storage on your device. There is one such option where you can disable the application if you don’t want to use that on your device.

    Smart manager is the application which is used to control all the actions of the device and helps in battery and performance optimization of the device. It comes with four options, i.e., Battery, Storage, RAM, Device Security and Ultra Data Saving. Now open the Smart Manager and click on the clean All button where the cache memory is cleared and RAM and Battery are optimized on your device.

    The device comes with the Developer Mode enabled on it. If you still don’t find that option then open the settings and tap on About device. In the new window, tap on Software info and click on the build number for about 7-8 times to enable that on your device.

    Easy Mode helps you to use your device more easily with a simpler home screen layout and applications on the home screen with large font size and limiting the options on the home screen. To use this on your device, open the settings and tap on Easy Mode in the personal Section. In the new window, tap on the check box adjacent to the Easy Mode and click on the done button. The Easy Mode is successfully applied on your device.

    To enable the battery percentage indicator on your device, open the settings and tap on battery. In the new window, head over to the bottom of the screen and toggle the button adjacent to Show power on status bar to enable that on your device.
