Samsung has recently launched a budget smartphone in the J series, i.e., Galaxy J2 priced at INR 8490. Earlier Samsung has launched Galaxy J5 and J7 that are purely meant for gaming. Galaxy J2 comes powered by an Exynos 3475 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It has 4.7-inch TFT display with 960×540 pixels resolution. It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports dual standby. The SIM card supported on the device is Micro-SIM card. It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB as its internal storage and can be expanded up to 128GB using an external micro SD card. The dimensions of the device are 136.5x69x8.4mm and weighs around 122grams.
The design of the device is simple, and almost similar when compared to its earlier devices. The best feature of this device is it supports 4G connectivity. There are very few devices that supports 4G at this price range, and J2 is one among them. While speaking about the camera, the device comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP selfie shooter. It comes powered by a 2000mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. The device comes with Super AMOLED display and supports OTG. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 2G/3G/4G are the connectivity features available on the device.The device is available in three color variants Black, White and Gold.
