Samsung Galaxy A8s to Feature Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB RAM & Quad Cameras

Ever since the Samsung’s Developer Conference held this month, the Korean device manufacturer has been constantly in the news regarding its smartphones line-up. That’s because Samsung had showcased multiple Infinity display technologies for its upcoming smartphones lined-up next year. However, the speculations and leaks are stopping yet; a new report had revealed the hardware details of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy A8s device, which is expected to launch next month.

The report suggests that the new Galaxy A8s would be featuring a large 6.39-inch FHD+ display with a cut-out for the in-display camera. While the screen appears to be an LCD, it is said to be manufactured by Chinese BOE display maker. While, it is still unclear, whether it would be either one of the previously showcased Infinity-O or the Infinity-U display since multiple reports are emerging lately or, there might be a possibility of two Galaxy A8s devices with individual Infinity display tech, have to abide till the launch.

Furthermore, the report has also revealed that the new Galaxy A8s would be powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It is also expected to feature a microSD expansion of up to 512GB. As for the optics, the Galaxy A8s would have trio camera setup – a 24MP, 5MP, and 10MP sensor, on the rear. And, the front in-display selfie camera is expected to have a 24MP camera sensor. Besides, a 3400mAh battery is supposed to be power the Galaxy A8s along with USB Type-C charge capabilities.

However, there’s isn’t any official announcement about the launch from Samsung yet; although, the company had given a sneak peek of the upcoming A8s smartphone during the launch of Galaxy A6s and A9s, which was held a month ago.
