Realme and Xiaomi have confirmed the launch of their 64MP camera phones over the last few weeks, but now the upcoming Galaxy A70s from Samsung is also tipped to be sporting a 64MP camera. The device has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking with the model number SM-A707F and will be powered with an Octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It will be coming with Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s own UI 1.1 on top.
The listing of the device on Geekbench also revealed few specs which clearly indicates the launch of the device is nearby. According to the earlier leaks, the Galaxy A70s will be the first Smartphone which will be sporting 64-MP camera and the phone is said to be coming with a small update over its predecessor Galaxy A70 except for the camera hardware. It will come with Android the latest 9 Pie OS out of the box and should be getting further updates when available.
Furthermore, the listing from Geekbench says that Samsung should be integrating its own ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP camera sensor into the phone. The handset should be coming with the normal connectivity options like the dual 4G connectivity option along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and few other sensors that are required for the automation of the handset. More details should be known in the coming days.
Realme confirmed that it will be launching a quad-camera phone in the Realme series and it also said that it will be releasing its first 64MP camera phone in India before the Diwali eve. We might see few smartphones with the 64MP camera sensor to be announced in the final quarter of 2019 so stay tight to check on these phones.
