From the past few days, we have seen many smartphones have been getting updated to Android 9 Pie since Android Q is already in the air. Samsung is now updating its Galaxy A6+ (2018) smartphone with the latest Android 9.0 Pie along with an update to its OneUI. This midrange device will be getting the update in batches via OTA and it will reach your device depending on the region you are in. As of now the initial batch of the update is limited for Poland only and other markets will be receiving it soon.
The new update to the device comes with the version A605FNXXU3BSC6 via OTA that weighs over 1.2GB in size. This update brings Android 9.0 Pie flavor along with the security patch for the month of March and it should be reaching the devices in Poland in the next few days. If you have not received the update yet, you can always check for it manually by heading on the setting of the smartphone and the going to the system updates section.
If the file is available then download it and install. Make sure the battery is at least 60 percent and also back up all the important data before the installation starts. The Galaxy A6+ comes powered with Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The onboard storage is limited to 64GB which can be extended further via microSD card slot and for cameras, Samsung has included a 6MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup on the rear while on the front we can find a 24MP sensor for selfies.
The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the rear along with the support for face unlocking and has Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display.
