Samsung Already Started Working on Two New Foldable Smartphones

Alongside the Galaxy S10 smartphones launch in New York City, Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Fold smartphone. The in-folding Galaxy Fold smartphone from Samsung will be competing with the out-folding Huawei Mate X. While the consumers or even none from media have yet to get their hands on these two foldable devices, both the companies are claiming their design to be the best for real-world usage.
Now, the latest news suggests the South Korean giant is already working two new foldable smartphones. Just like the curved displays, the foldable devices will also take at least a couple of iterations to come out best. Samsung doesn’t want to stuck with the $1980-priced Galaxy Fold smartphone. According to the Sammobile, the company might adopt the foldable display design for the Galaxy W-series. Currently, Samsung is only making the clamshell phones under the Galaxy W-series.
Since the company is always targeting the premium Chinese customers with the Galaxy W-series, the higher price tag of the foldable Galaxy W smartphone shouldn’t be an issue for the company. After launching the Galaxy W foldable smartphone, we might also see out-folding Galaxy smartphone from Samsung. Since there is no need for a secondary display for the out-folding design, it could be slimmer than the current Galaxy Fold smartphone. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
