Xiaomi’s Redmi makes budget smartphones in the country under its ‘A’ series. While Redmi 7A has been the latest in the lot featuring Snaprdargon’s 439 SoC, the design of the 7A has been old school going by the latest cheaper smartphones in the market lately. Well, it appears Redmi is going to change that and bring the conventional dewdrop design into its budget series as well.

According to Slashleaks, the successor to the Redmi 7A — the Redmi 8A has been spotted online. Not just an image but the hands-on photos of the alleged next budget Redmi 8A smartphone has been spotted online, revealing what to expect from the new Redmi 8A smartphone. Alongside, the Redmi 8A design, the hands-on images also showcase the specifications of the device, suggesting us the Redmi 8A will also be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 439 SoC — followed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage as well.
