The Red Hydrogen One phone is finally going to be available from 2nd of November in the US via AT&T and Verizon carriers. The device is priced at $1,245 and is available via these carriers for monthly payments plans. The retail pricing of the smartphone is $100 more than what the pre-order went for when the smartphone was first announced. Red which is known for making high-end digital cameras for movies was supposed to release its first smartphone early 2018 but we are almost at the end of the year now.
The Hydrogen One will be coming with a 4-view (4V) that is said to give a hologram-like experience to its users. the company is also offering few 4V_compatible movies to the users as the regular movies would not viewable in 4V and the company is looking to extend the catalog to more than 100 titles in the coming future. Earlier: We all have been eagerly waiting for the Red Hydrogen One Android smartphone from long and its been many months from the announcement of the same device. RED, which is known mainly for making high-end cameras also confirmed the specs of the Red Hydrogen One smartphone in an event last week in NYC. The device is powered with Nanotechnology and also delivers realistic depth and the light and textures bring content to life. Moreover, it also comes with a 5.7-inch QHD 4-View Lightfield Display which is claimed to create an experience that is more than 3D, without having to use the glasses.
The Hydrogen One Smartphone will come with an A3D Multi-dimensional surround sound and Red also says that it is a module, cinema-capable media which will be letting you add a power pack for increasing battery life and also expand phone’s memory or even attach a camera module with changeable mounts and these will be available in 2019. It also has a Holographic 4-View (H4V) recoding front and back with 3D experience and it also creates a depth map and adds two additional views (4V) in real time. There are a durable carbon fiber and functionally designed side controls on the device.
When the users capture a 3D photo with Hydrogen One, it will be saved on the smartphone as a JPEG file with 3D Data in metadata and they will be displayed as 2D photos automatically on any 2D smartphones, making it easier to share. The device will also come with a HoloPix application which can be used to share 3D photos and it will also get Face-Time like support for real-time 3D video chats. Hydrogen Network will be open to sharing 3D content from the creators and the Leia Loft services will also be offering 3D-compatible games and applications for its users.
As we all know the handset will come with a 5.7” QHD LTPS-TFT display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Under the hood, we can find an Octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. 12MP Dual Stereo rear cameras with 8MP Dual Stereo front cameras and a side mounted fingerprint sensor. There will be a 4500mAh battery to power this smartphone. The device is already shipping and will be launched soon.
