How To
How to Record a Video using Samsung Gear 2 Camera
The Samsung Gear 2 is the second in line from Samsung in the Smartwatch series and along with it, there are other devices released like the Gear Fit, Gear 2 Neo. The Gear 2 Camera is a 2 MP one which is embedded into the device body rather than in the strap like seen in the first Gear device.
The device can record Videos at 720p and can save just 5 Videos of 15 seconds each to save memory on the Gear 2. So if you are planning to use the camera to shoot videos or as a camera then i guess you have to compromise. After you record three Videos, the camera will automatically shut off to maintain device performance.
How to Record Videos with Samsung Gear 2
Turn on the screen of your Samsung gear 2, and you are on the Home screen. If you have put the Camera icon on the Home Screen tap on it or you have to swap the screen from Right to Left and Tap on the Camera Icon.
After the Camera App opens, you can see that it is in the camera mode and not in the Video Camera mode.
On the top right side of the Screen, you can find the Video Camera Icon, which should be tapped once to activate the Video Camera.
Tap on the screen to start video recording and if you want to stop the Video recording before the 15 seconds limit you should tap anywhere on the screen to stop recording and save the Video automatically.
Once you are done recording a Video if you want to view it, you should Scroll Left to play the Video that you have recorded.
If you want to return to the Camera Screen, scroll on the screen to the Right side to get to the camera screen.
You can use it as an alternative Video Camera but if you are expecting some good recording i think it will disappoint you but as we can see that it is just a smart watch so it will be bad on our part to expect something more than what is at offer here.
