Realme U1 with 3GB RAM & 64GB Storage Launched for Rs 10,999

As teased yesterday, Realme announced a new storage variant of the Realme U1. The new Realme U1 packs 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It was earlier available only in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB storage options. Now, the new 3GB + 64GB storage option is priced at Rs 10,999. We actually expected the company to launch the 6GB + 128GB storage variant. Earlier this week, Xiaomi finally started selling the Redmi Note 7 Pro with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Talking about the specifications, the Realme U1 comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display with waterdrop notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor featuring 4x Cortex-A73 cores and 4x Cortex-A53 cores. The powerful Mali G72 GPU looking after the graphical performance. It also comes with a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. It is backed by a 3,500mAh non-removable battery and doesn’t support fast charging.

While it is still running on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 out of the box, the company already confirmed to release the ColorOS 6 update starting June this year. Coming to the cameras, the Realme U1 sports 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and a 25MP selfie camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture.
