Looks like the successor of the Realme C1 is going to be launched on 22nd of April. According to a news, the upcoming Realme C2 is going to be launched at the Delhi University Stadium in India along with the Realme 3 Pro which has been in the leaks from many days. There is no official word on the device from Realme but according to few sources, Realme C2 will be announced on the same day which was unveiled earlier this year in January.
The handset is said to be similar to the Realme C1 with minor updates but we should be expecting drastic changes from its predecessor. Talking about the upcoming device it will be powered with a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC instead of Snapdragon 450 SoC that we have seen on the Realme C1. Although the screen size is unknown yet, it will be featuring a waterdrop style notch.
It will be sporting dual camera setup on the rear with a 13MP main camera sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor. It will be coming out of the box with an 8MP selfie sensor instead of a 5MP camera as we have seen on its predecessor. The Realme C2 will be coming with a battery with more than 4000mAh capacity and will be sporting ColorOS 6.0 OS on top Android 9 Pie. It should also be coming with a face unlocking system since the physical fingerprint sensor is not found.
The Realme C1 is currently priced at Rs. 5,999 for the 2GB / 32GB storage variants while the 3GB / 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 6,799 in the country. Considering this the upcoming device should be priced around Rs.8000 and the design should also be similar to that of its predecessor. Well, what do you think of this handset?
