Qiku Prime, Flagship and Youth Smartphones Launched in China

The Qihoo 360 in partnership with Coolpad has established a new smartphone brand called Qiku and the company has unveiled their first smartphones on August 26th. There were total three smartphones launched called Qiku Prime, Qiku Flagship and Qiku Youth smartphones. Among all the three, Qiku Prime which was showcased to Apple’s CEO is the company’s flagship device priced at 3,599 Yuan. Other two smartphones Qiku Flagship and Qiku Youth  are priced at 1,999 Yuan and 1,199 Yuan respectively.

Earlier this week, Qihoo 360’s CEO Zhou Hongyi showcased their latest phone to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook at the China’s president meeting event. There were gathered at the 8th US-China Internet Industry Forum at Microsoft with Top CEO’s from the US talking about cybersecurity which is a topic that has caused Tension among the both nations. In the picture you see below Zhou Hongyi is showcasing the Qiku Prime model which is the best product in the recently announced series.

Qiku Prime: (Q Terra)

The flagship Qiku Prime comes with a 6-inch 2K (2560×1440) display and is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. It has 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to another 64GB. It has a 13MP dual camera setup on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera. The device includes a fingerprint sensor and a battery of  3,700mAh capacity.

Qiku Flagship:

The design of the device is same as the Qiku Prime but comes with cut-down specifications. The same 6-inch display comes with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution. Under the hood is Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor coupled with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

It comes in 16GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot for storage expansion upto 64GB. The Qiku Flagship comes with a fingerprint scanner and all the other specifications remained same as on the Qiku Prime.

Qiku Youth: (Q Luna)

The last device that was launched is the Qiku Youth which comes with a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor. It sports a 5.5-inch FULL HD (1920×1080) display with a pixel density of 400ppi. There is 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot. The device equipped with a slightly smaller 3,000mAh battery. It comes with a fingerprint sensor, 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

All the three devices support 4G LTE and includes USB Type-C port. They run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based new 360 OS. Qiku Youth was already on sale while the pre-orders have started foe Qiku Prime and Flagship smartphones.
