Dutch Technology Company Philips new smartphone Philips I999 listed online on e-commerce website eBay and priced at $479.99. The smartphone comes factory unlocked and can run on any SIM card of different telecom operators. It also come flashed with root access and Google apps out of the box. On the other hand, if you want one without root access, you can contact the company regarding this. It comes in Black color. Surprisingly, this smartphone still running on much outdated operating system Android 4.4.3 out of the box.

Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, it comes with 5.5-inch TFT IPS 2K display. The resolution of the screen is 2560 x 1440 pixels. The device is 8.2mm thick and weighs around 126.6 gram. There is 3GB RAM on board along with 32GB internal storage and memory card support of up to 32GB. The smartphone runs on 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor.

On the camera department, it has 20.7MP autofocus rear camera with 5-optical components and LED flash. There is an 8MP autofocus front camera as well for a selfie. The primary camera can record up to 2560 x 1440p videos at up to 30 frames per second. On the connectivity front, it is a 4G LTE smartphone with nano-SIM card support and also comes with Bluetooth v2.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.

It powered by 3000mAh Li-ion battery. It also comes with the pre-installed apps like Baidu Input, Baidu Map, China Weather, and iReader. There a power saving switch as well in the smartphone, which located on the side panel. According to the company, by clicking the switch, it will save battery by shutting down Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. It will also dim the display after that. This battery saver switch might come handy if you travel a lot or charge your smartphone once in a while on a daily basis.

On the other hand, the smartphone also comes with Fast charging which is a very attractive feature in the smartphones nowadays. This feature lets you charge smartphone battery in a couple of minutes after that one can use it for the whole day. The smartphone is available in the US on Ebay at price tag of $479.

Philips I999 comes with a fingerprint scanner as well which located on the back side of the smartphone. The volume button is located at left side while the power button is on the right side. The audio jack is at the top while micro USB is at the bottom of the smartphone. There are no details about the launching of this smartphone in India.
