Panasonic, specially known for its electronic products has recently launched two new smartphones P50 Idol and P65 Flash in India. Earlier they had launched Eluga Icon where the device comes with 4G LTE feature and 3500mAh battery capacity and now the brand is focusing on mid-range smartphone in India. The company is planning to launch around 10 smartphones in this festive season with the announcement of P50 Idol and P65 Flash at INR 6,790 and INR 8,290 respectively.

We always keep the consumer behaviour in mind at every step of our smartphone design and manufacturing strategy. With the release of the P50 Idol and P65 Flash, Panasonic now offers nearly 30 smartphones at affordable price points for every buyer to indulge themselves or their loved ones this festive season.”
It comes powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device sports a 5-inch IPS HD display with 1280 x 720pixels resolution. It packs 1GB RAM and 8GB as its internal memory storage and can be expanded up to 32GB using an external Micro SD card. The device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera. It comes with stylish contour edges for a sleek profile. The dimensions of the device include 142 x 71.5 x 8.7mm and weighs around 139grams.
The innovative metallic brush-effect on the back panel gives the device a Japanese premium brand look. It is powered by a 2150mAh Li-Ion battery and runs on Android 5.1(Lollipop). It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports dual standby with a combination of 3G and 2G support. Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, Micro USB 2.0 are the connectivity features available on the device. Light, Proximity, and Accelerometer are the sensors available on the device.
The specs of the device are almost similar when compared to that of P50 Idol with a minute changes in the display Size and battery. The P65 Flash flaunts a 5.5-inch screen, complimented by a metallic gold or silver finish with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The dimensions of the device are 151 x 77.8 x 8.95mm and weighs around 168 grams. It is equipped with a 2910mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Both the device comes with similar specs except the battery capacity and the display Size. The company is planning to launch new smartphone in this mid-range, with a key focus on the requirement of the consumers in India.
