Panasonic Eluga Ray 530 Smartphone Launched in India with Face unlock & 5.7” Display
Panasonic Eluga Ray 530 is a new smartphone from the company that has been added to its Eluga series. This new device from Panasonic is an entry-level smartphone which will be available in Blue and Black color options. The handset is been priced at Rs. 8,999 in the country and is already available via offline retailers across the country. On the launch, the Business Head of Mobility Division, Panasonic India – Pankaj Rana commented that they have added another Eluga smartphone portfolio and claims that Elugu Ray 530 is a performance powerhouse and will be offering many features like HD display and stylish look.
Well, coming to the specifications of this new device, the Eluga Ray 530 comes with 5.7-inch 1440 × 720 pixels (HD+) Display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, we can find a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739WA 64-bit SoC coupled 3GB of RAM and PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. Out of the box, the device will be sporting Android 8.1 Oreo operating system but nothing is mentioned about the further updates. The onboard storage is 32GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card slot. The handset supports dual SIM connectivity but nothing is mentioned about the SIM type.
The Eluga Ray 530 from Panasonic comes with just a single 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture size but since it lacks the secondary rear camera, it could be tough for it to survive in the market even for the budget segment. The company has provided a fingerprint sensor, along and has a 3000mAh battery to power it. It supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and has other connectivity options like WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS, and A-GPS. Are you planning to get this budget-friendly device?
