The device comes with 3GB RAM where the system uses 421MB RAM; 310MB RAM is occupied by pre-installed apps and 2.2GB free RAM is available when no apps are running on the device.
Smart gestures are helpful in performing few action on your device using the gestures. To use these features on your device, Open the settings, tap on smart gestures in the device section. In the newly opened window, tap on the checkbox to enable them on your device. The different smart gesture options available on the device are Three point screenshot, slip screen, three-point entry camera, two point adjust the volume and Double tap to lock.
Insertion on SIM on the device is simple. The device comes with a non-removable back panel, and the SIM card slot is present on the left side of the device. To insert a SIM on your device, switch off the phone and insert ejector pin in the port and push it. The SIM card tray pops out of the device, remove the tray and place the SIM on it as per the marked direction. Now, put the tray back in the port and switch on your device. You have successfully inserted SIM on your device, and it is ready to use in few minutes.
It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports micro SIM card on it. If you want to expand the memory storage, you have to use one of the SIM card slots as micro SD card slot.
Sharing of a data network over a device can be done by tethering mode on the device. To share data network on your device, open the Settings, tap on more in wireless & network, and tap on Tethering & portable hotspot. In the new window, tap on Wi-Fi hotspot and toggle the off button to enable that on your device. You can also change the device name and password by tapping on ‘set up Wi-Fi hotspot.’
There are three ways using which you can capture the screenshot on your device.
Method 1: You can capture the screenshot by pressing the power/lock key along with volume down key to capture screenshot.
Method 2: You need to swipe three fingers from top to bottom to capture the screenshot on your device.
Method 3: If you have smart gesture enabled on your device, you need to press and hold the menu button and select the region that you want to capture. Now, click on save button to save that on your gallery.
To check for updates on your Oukitel U10, you need to open the wireless updates app and tap on check for updates. The device checks for updates and if no updates available then a message stating Your device is currently up to date is displayed on the screen.
External apps can be installed by enabling the Unknown sources option on your device. To install an external app on your device, open the Settings, tap on security. In the new window click on Unknown sources and tap on OK to enable that on your device. Now you can install any external app on your device.
Quick Settings in the Notification panel cannot be customized on your device.
Power saving mode helps in improving the battery life of your device. To enable this on your device, open the Settings, tap on the battery in the device section. Now tap on the menu button that is on the top right side on the screen and click on battery saver. In the new window, toggle the off button to enable that on your device. You can also use the ‘Turn on automatically’ option to activate power saving mode when the battery is about 5% or 15%.
Direction, Acceleration, Light, E-Compass, and proximity are the sensors available on the device and helps in automating your device.
Yes, there are LED notification lights on the device and can be used by enabling them on your device. The device comes with LED notification for the charge, battery low, and event miss. To enable them on your device, Open the settings, tap on display and click on LED. In in the new window, tap on the check box to enable them on your device.
All the devices with Android Lollipop on it support Screen pinning feature. Though the device comes with Android lollipop on it, there is no option where you can enable screen pinning feature on your device.
The device comes with a few bloatware like facebook, twitter and few google related apps pre-installed. There is no app drawer on the device, and all the apps are on the home screen.
There is an option on the device where you can move apps from phone to SD card on your device. To move an app on your device, open the Settings, tap on apps in the device section and click on the app that you want to move. In the App Info window, tap on the move to sd card. The app is successfully transferred to your card.
The device comes with 16GB a sits internal storage where 11.37GB is available for user and rest of space is occupied by the OS and pre-installed apps.

Gesture unlock options are used to unlock your device with opening any of the applications that you want open. To use this feature on your device, open the Settings, scroll down to Device section and tap on gesture Unlock. Now, toggle the off button to unlock it on your device. Now enable all the options that you want to use after unlocking your screen. The unlock gestures available on the device are Double-click to wake, slide up to unlock, slide down to camera, sideslip cut song.
To insert a fingerprint on your device, open the Settings, scroll down to personal and tap on the fingerprint. In the new window, you need to set the code for your device and tap on continue, you need to confirm your code again and tap on OK. The device will ask for notification settings, select the option and tap on done. Fingerprint option is initialized on your device. Now tap on New fingerprint, and place your finger on the fingerprint scanner and remove it and place it when the device vibrates. Repeat the process until the fingerprint is scanned and tap OK to continue. You have successfully inserted fingerprint on your device. Now, you can use this to unlock your device.
SMS somatosensory dial, contact dialing by somatosensory are the two smart somatosensory options available on the device. They also include few gesture options like gallery, music player, camera, launcher, unlock.
