The ColorOS 6 was introduced last year in the month of November but it has not been seen on any device yet, which should happen very soon. The latest news is that Oppo is now adding an app drawer to the companies default launcher in ColorOS 6. There are lots users who are wanting to have an app drawer which Oppo has been lacking and many have been using other third-party launchers.
Which the introduction of the app drawer to its default launcher, it will be a relief as the launcher will be a part of the OS now. This new feature will be opt-in which has to be changed from the settings and the user who wish to continue to use the standard launcher can still stay on it. The information on the same was found on the official Realme Forum page and we can expect this to be applied on Oppo’s sub-brand Realme also.
Furthermore, with the ColorOS 6, built-in web browser will also be getting optimized which will be reducing the battery consumption when compared to third-party browsers. On the forum page, there is a question raised if ColorOS 6 will provide the option to enable the app drawer to which the answer was “Yes!” Since it has been highly requested and they are thrilled to announce that their users will now be able to turn on the app drawer in the settings.
The company also mentioned that it will be considering other possible features involving the fingerprint sensor apart from enabling the feature to take a picture by tapping on the fingerprint sensor.
