Just yesterday, we had covered about the OPPO’s new sub-brand to take on online focused brands like Xiaomi. As mentioned, the company today revealed its sub-brand called RealMe and the first will be the Real Me 1. The company has partnered exclusively with Amazon India to sell this new smartphone. As of now, there is not much information about the device. OPPO will be officially unveiling the RealMe 1 smartphone on May 15th.

However, the company teased the design by revealing the rear view of the device. It is said to come with the Black Diamond finish on the rear. The OPPO Mirror 5 launched way back in 2015 came with the similar diamond-like mirrored finish. While the power button is placed on the right edge, the volume rocker sits on the left edge. It comes with glass sandwich design with metal frame.

The device seems to come with the notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. There will be no fingerprint sensor on this device, instead the company will be offering face unlock. The company is offering single cameras on the front and rear of the device. We expect it to offer basic connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. As of now, there is not much information available about the internals of the device.

While the official launch event is scheduled for May 15th, we can expect to see the leaks about this new device in the coming days. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
