Oppo launched the F1 Smartphone at the beginning of the year. Dubbed as the “Selfie Expert”, the camera was the unique selling point for that smartphone. Even though the smartphone was not one of the best in the market for what it claimed to be the best, but it still did a decent job. And now after all these months, the company has finally decided to launch yet another, which is, in fact, the successor to the F1. The new device is called the Oppo F1S and will be launched in India on August 3rd.
The newly launched F1s is supposedly built on the “strengths” of the predecessor and is ready to take on the market in this segment. Although we don’t have any specifications of the device yet, it is expected to be a decent phone with good specifications to maintain a good place in the market. The company is positioning the upcoming OPPO F1s as one of the core products in its line-up for the second half of the year. The company promises that it will continue the legacy of superb photography, sleek design and snappy performance, and of course add more features to give it the necessary upgrade it needs to be better than it’s predecessor.
We have no details on pricing and availability of the device as of now, but we expect the company to unveil more in coming days. It is also expected that the company will be launching the device sometime in August. According to reports, it is anticipated that this new device will pack the features like Super VOOC and the smart stabilization technology, which the company unveiled at MWC this year. Unlike all other optical image stabilization solutions adopted thus far, this smart sensor IS upgrades the movement up to three axes for better functionality.
However, we don’t have any confirmation on this, and we suggest you to take these rumors with a pinch of salt. We expect the company to launch this phone with some good features as its being titled as one of the core products for the rest of the year. Stay tuned for information as we will update the thread accordingly.
