With the success of the OnePlus 2 the OnePlus has now launched a mid-range smartphone that is OnePlus X priced at Rs 16,999 and is exclusively available on Amazon Store. This device is also available to the users with the same invite system that the brand had done for OnePlus One and OnePlus 2. The design of the device is decent and comes with a glossy back(mirror back).

The device comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz coupled with Adreno 330 GPU. It has a large 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is a dual SIM smartphone and supports dual Standby. The SIM card supported by the device is nano SIM card. The SIM card2 slot is a hybrid slot with a combination of Micro SD slot and nano SIM slot, and can use either of the options on your device.

It comes with 3GB RAM and 16 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded upto 128GB using an external Micro SD card. The device comes powered by a 2525 mAh Li-Po battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Oxygen OS interface.

The dimensions of the device include 140 x 69 x 6.9mm and weighs around 138 grams. The head SAR value of the device is 0.428 W/Kg and body SAR value of the device is 0.601 W/Kg. While speaking about the camera, the device comes with 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 8MP front camera to capture better selfies. The additional features of the camera include the Geotagging, Auto Focus and Full HD Video Recording. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB Type 2.0 and 2G/ 3G/ 4G network are the connectivity features available on the device. The device is available in two color variants, i.e., black and ceramic white. The unit that we received is the black and called as OnyX.
