OnePlus launches E-commerce Store in India selling Phones & Accessories

OnePlus has launched its online store in India, but it is currently selling only accessories and the smartphones are available exclusively on Amazon.in. Like the US and Europe online stores, there is a possibility of selling the devices online on the Indian OnePlus store soon but nothing is known about it yet. OnePlus is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that was founded in December 2013 and is headquartered in Shenzhen.
The list of accessories includes Flip Covers, Otterbox case, Tempered Glass Protector, Protective Cases, Dash Type-C Bable, Dash Power Adapter OnPlus Icons earphonesDash Car Charger for the OnePlus 3 and cases for OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. OnePlus also said that it will be bringing the latest range of exclusive merchandise and also offer limited-time offers for the existing users. The user needs to avail these offers by registering the IMEI details of their handset on the portal.

“Having our own e-commerce platform will make the purchase experience for consumers and fans even better, and ensure that consumer gets genuine product,” Vikas Agarwal, general manager – India, OnePlus, told ET. “Shipping phones online is a complicated process and right now demand is outstripping supply, especially during festive season, so we will sell through Amazon for some foreseeable future,” Agarwal added.
OnePlus was revealed its flagship model OnePlus 3 June 14th and it was unveiled in a virtual reality event and OnePlus offered its customers Loop VR headsets. OnePlus 3 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. After launching its OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 with invite system, the company decided to remove the invite system on the OnePlus 3 device.
